Don’t miss a note in our 2026-2027 season! You can attend every one of our incredible concerts this year for the low cost of $50!
- We open our season on September 29 with our Music for Silent Film performance with original music by Ed Ruchalski. You’re going to see three short silent films back-to-back, including the 19-minute silent comedy starring Buster Keaton, One Week.
- The fall concert “Sticks, Keys, Bows – Music for Percussion, Piano, and Violin” will feature pieces by composers Cuong, Draper, Greenstein, Macklay, Monk, Montgomery, and Weinberg.
- *Vision of Sound is our concert series that fuses contemporary music, dance, and digital media. These performances feature new works by distinguished composers from across Central New York, with each composition paired with original choreography by regional dance artists.
- We are having our first ever all-electronic music concert in Spring 2027! This will feature exclusively electronic works by local New York composers.
- Our season wraps up with our annual Israel/Pellman Prize Winners performance where each of the two prize-winning compositions submitted by promising New York State composers who are currently studying or just beginning their professional careers will have their works performed by Society for New Music professional musicians.
