Vision of Sound
Vision of Sound is an annual concert series started in 2005 that uniquely fuses contemporary music, dance, and digital media, creating a truly integrated artistic experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional performance. Vision of Sound features new works by distinguished composers from across Central New York, with each composition paired with original choreography by regional dance artists.
Vision of Sound is a true visual and sound immersion experience. Past concerts have taken place at SUNY Brockport, Onondaga Community College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Hobart & William Smith Colleges. To inquire about participating in Vision of Sound as an artist or performer, or to learn about becoming a venue, please contact snm@societyfornewmusic.org.
